K-2 offers up features that add a classy touch, with fantastic resonance, sustain and intonation
The Black-White-Black design of the thin rosette adds a touch of sophistication to the overall appearance, while the black binding on the top serves not only an aesthetic purpose but also effectively seals the sound board to the sides of the body. The body is crafted from select Straight Grain Koa and features TRU-R bracing (Total Resonating Ukulele Redesigned), enhancing vibration and resonance. The neck is made of solid Mahogany and boasts a sleek black and white rosette, with a matching Ebony fingerboard, bridge, and head plate. The classic Kanile`a Crown headstock, complete with chrome open geared tuners, adds a touch of elegance. The ebony bridge pins, NuBone nut and saddle, and white Mother-of-Pearl position markers and logo all add to the premium quality of this ukulele. The finish is UV cured for maximum durability, and the ukulele comes with a deluxe case for safekeeping.
