The Kamaka family has been dedicated to building skillfully-handcrafted ukuleles since 1916, almost a century of dedication to quality. The HF-1 is a beautiful hand crafted soprano ukulele with an unmatched Hawaiian sound. The heritage of ukulele making at Kamaka Hawaii is preserved by second and third generation Hawaiian luthiers, as well as the many talented craftsmen at the Kakaako factory in Honolulu. Each Kamaka ukulele has its own individual Serial Number.
Each individual Kamaka ukulele is a heritage hand crafted, highest quality instrument with the pure traditional Hawaiian tone. this heirloom quality instrument is supplied complete with a Kamaka Custom hard shell case.
Kamaka's signature ukulele, designed and patented in 1928 by Samuel K. Kamaka. The Pineapple has a unique, oval-shaped body and produces a resonant, mellow sound distinct from the traditional figure-eight.
